After finishing my degree I found myself wanting to learn more. However only learning about existing knowledge isn’t enough for me, I want to learn about something that isn’t known.

 

Tribology is all about friction, wear, and lubrication. Consequently it affects everything and everyone, and is heavily related to Mechanical Engineering. Therefore being able to learn in-depth about such an interesting and diverse topic, at two of the top Engineering Universities in the UK is an opportunity not to be missed.

 

The iT-CDT also works closely with industry providing very real and current problems. For me, the iT-CDT enables me to further develop theoretical and technical skills while applying them to current academic and industrial problems.
