The Institution of Engineering Technologies (IET) mission is to inspire, inform and influence the global engineering community, supporting technology innovation to meet the needs of society. Further information can be found at http://www.theiet.org

Leon along with other CDT Students, academics and industrial delegates, all had the opportunity to discuss and address some of the current Tribology challenges in the field of transport, along with the developments of materials and surface coatings for use in extreme environments.

This event brought together leading members from the community to hear key information from a number of invited speakers. Alongside this there was an opportunity to view posters entered into the competition and opportunities to interact with the exhibitors at the show.

This is just one of the many events we encourage our students to present their work at.
